The four main auditoriums of the Toulouse School
of Economics are fitted with the E4000 integrated
seat-and-desk system. An award-winning complex,
designed by Irish duo Yvonne Farrell and Shelley
McNamara (Grafton Architects), who reinterpreted
the buttresses, walls, ramps, mysterious cool interiors
and courtyards, all of which encapsulate the essence
of the French city known as the “Pink City” due to the
predominant colour of its historic brick-faced buildings.
The Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), founded by
the 2014 recipient of the Nobel Prize for Economics,
Jean Tirole, is part of Toulouse 1 Capitole University.
The E4000 integrated seat-and-desk system designed
by Lucci and Orlandini enhances the auditoriums.
Installed in curved tiered rows, the version chosen
includes a fixed silver laminate top, a seat and backrest
upholstered in elegant grey faux leather, and coated
silver metal frames.
