On the hill of the Croix-Rousse, Lyon's silk industry district that is now a vibrant arts centre, the beautiful 19th-century buildings and the former Chartreuse du Lys-Saint-Esprit monastery have been transformed into the prestigious campus Sup Alta - Campus Sacré-Cœur des Chartreux for higher education and technical training.
