Complete set-up for the auditorium of the leading company in the field of electrical supplies Sacchi SpA

LAMM and Caruso Acoustic products shape the comfortable “corporate” auditorium in the advanced logistics centre of Desio (MB)

In Desio (MB), within the immense highly automated logistics hub of Sacchi SpA, the largest distributor in Northern Italy of products and solutions for electrical and technological systems, industrial automation, and energy transition, the sophisticated ‘corporate’ auditorium is born, fully furnished by LAMM and the Caruso Acoustic division with chairs, tables, coverings, and sound-absorbing panels.

The new 240-seat hall is integrated into one of the most advanced distribution centres in the electrical sector, a zero-emission complex spreading over more than 70,000 square metres of covered area, a tangible expression of the company’s relentless growth, with over 67 years of history, around 1,400 employees, 400 suppliers, and 84 sales outlets, which has become part of Sonepar, the world’s largest distributor of electrical materials.

The versatile L213 – R&D LAMM, arranged in straight rows on steps (centre-to-centre distance of 54 cm), are distributed in their lively colour (Inca green faux-leather upholstery), fully padded and made of material from well-managed, FSC® certified forests and other controlled sources (FSC® C134805). The armchairs have been chosen in the version with a straight side and a graphite-painted floor anchoring foot.
On stage, behind the custom-made speaker’s desk – panelled on three sides with a self-supporting structure and made of material from well-managed, FSC® certified forests and other controlled sources (FSC® C134805) – the folding OnTime – Baldanzi & Novelli armchairs with double swivel castors and orange faux leather upholstery are proudly displayed. The counter, also supplied by LAMM, has a Graphite 879 finish by Abet Laminati and is equipped with a worktop with two top accesses.

Mounted in adherence to the ceiling and covered in anthracite-coloured phono-transparent fabric, the panels, model Silente by Caruso Acoustic were installed in two different sizes (120×240 and 90×240). In addition, the provision involved 270 square metres of modular panelling with an English oak finish for the walls: reflective panels with 14 mm wide battens for the side walls and sound-absorbing panles with narrower battens (7 mm) for the rear wall.
The supply is completed by 8 Flip – R&D LAMM tables with a drop-down graphite top and a white painted structure for the small room adjacent to the auditorium.
